Howdy! I’m VAN-essa—Your Home or Office Away from Home!
I’m Maker's Farm’s Winnebago Solis Class B RV, ready for mountain mornings, lakeside sunsets, and salty beach escapes.
Whether you’re planning a Southeast getaway or a cross-country road trip, or looking for the perfect way to create a work/life balance, I bring comfort, freedom, and a little personality to every mile.
My home base is Makers Farm, a private 4-acre lakefront farm on Lake Hartwell in Lavonia, Georgia. You’ll find me approximately 90 minutes from Atlanta, 60 minutes from Greenville, SC, and 90 minutes from Asheville, NC Airports—an easy starting point for your next escape. (I can be your personal chaeuffuer and pick/dropoff from airports if you want)

The Smokies are about 3.5 hours away.
Craving sandy toes?
I can be your beach house on wheels, with the Gulf Coast roughly 6.5 hours away, depending on where we’re headed.
I come stocked with fresh bedding, towels, kitchen essentials, a French press, camping chairs, and road games. Bring your clothes, favorite snacks, and sense of adventure—I’ll bring the cozy comforts of home.

I’m Ashley, your host and the planner behind your next escape or experience. One of my favorite things is helping people and businesses make memories, make room for nature, find joy on the road, and come home with memories they’ll carry for years.
I’m also an ordained minister—so if your adventure starts with “I do” and ends with
“Let’s hit the road,”
we can make that happen, too.
My partner and I love our lakefront mini farm, Maker’s Farm, and the freedom of travel. Sharing those parts of our lives with others makes them even more meaningful—whether we’re welcoming you to the farm, helping you celebrate a milestone, or sending you off on an adventure in Van-essa.
I’ve traveled 50,000+ miles by van across the U.S., explored 75+ national and state parks, and spent six years hosting travelers MAKE memories. As much as I love discovering somewhere new myself, I love helping someone else experience that feeling: finding a beautiful place to pause, spending time together, and enjoying the freedom to see where the road leads.
While balancing a full-time operations leadership career with part-time life on the road, I learned how to make room for adventure—a lunchtime hike in Yosemite, a coastal stop in California, or a quiet evening along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Those moments reminded me how much a little time outside can change the feel of a day, and they’re part of what I hope to share with you.
Van-essa has also joined me at business conferences as a mobile hotel, private meeting space, and transportation for visiting clients and investors. From facility tours to sponsored events and brand activations, I’ve enjoyed finding creative ways to bring travel and experiences into my professional life, too.
Today, I combine more than a decade of experience in operations and event planning with firsthand travel knowledge and a love of helping people make meaningful memories.
