Chrissy combines her Agriscience degree from the University of Georgia with two decades of hands-on experience in organic farming, property development, and solving complex challenges. Ashley brings 15 years of leadership in business operations, cultivation research, strategic planning, and experience making—from intimate gatherings and custom travel adventures to large-scale events. As an ordained wedding officiant, she also helps couples make it official, their way.
Together, we’ve built Makers Farm around what we love: the land, finding practical solutions, and creating experiences worth remembering. From equipment rentals and sales, property services, and innovative garden protection to photo sessions, intimate barn weddings, elopements, and adventure escapes, our offerings reflect the many ways we help people make things happen.
Based at our lakefront farm in Lavonia, Georgia, we welcome homesteaders, farmers, DIY enthusiasts, photographers, couples, and adventurers. Whether you’re planting something new, bringing an idea to life, or celebrating your next chapter, we’re here to help you

Chrissy graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agriscience and Environmental Systems, emphasizing organic production. Her education, farming experience, and more than 20 years in construction bring together agriculture, building, equipment operation, and hands-on problem-solving
—the foundation of Maker’s Farm.

I’m Ashley—a memory maker, adventure planner, and Georgia wedding officiant with
15+ years of experience building businesses, bringing people together, and
making ideas happen.
My lifelong love of agritourism found a home at Maker's Farm. Today, Chrissy and I combine our skills and creativity to share life on our lakefront farm and help others find adventure—here and beyond.
From intimate weddings and farm experiences to RV adventures, I create meaningful moments and take on select event and experience planning projects—at Maker's Farm or wherever your vision takes us.
With 50,000+ miles of van travel, 75+ national and state parks explored, and seven years hosting travelers in "Van"-essa our class B RV,
I combine firsthand experience with creativity and thoughtful organization to plan around your interests, comfort, and pace.
